Hospice of Peel is a not-for-profit, volunteer-based organization providing in-home support and a variety of individual and group programs to people and their families living with a life-threatening or terminal illness.
Trained community volunteers, with the supervision of professional Hospice of Peel staff, deliver services to clients, their caregivers and families. Since its establishment in 1985 Hospice of Peel has served over 7,500 terminally ill and over 24,000 family members in Mississauga and Brampton. Today the agency consists of a team of thirteen staff and approximately 400 volunteers.
Volunteers are essential to the Direct Service Delivery, Governance, Community Development, Administration and Fund Development initiatives of Hospice of Peel.
